{"id":99,"date":"2023-03-08T01:11:59","date_gmt":"2023-03-08T07:11:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thewordtoyou.net\/meditation\/?p=99"},"modified":"2023-03-09T01:01:01","modified_gmt":"2023-03-09T07:01:01","slug":"romans-21-11-gods-righteous-judgment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thewordtoyou.net\/meditation\/romans-21-11-gods-righteous-judgment\/","title":{"rendered":"Romans 2:1-11 God&#8217;s Righteous Judgment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Romans 2:1-11<br \/>\nGod&#8217;s Righteous Judgment<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">Today, March 8th, 2023, let us together, in the grace of God, rejoice and reflect on the Word of God in Romans 2:1-11<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><i>1 Therefore, O man, you are without excuse, everyone who judges, for in that in which you judge the other, you condemn yourself; for you, those judging, practice the same things. <\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\"><i>2 But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth on those that practice such things. <\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\"><i>3 And, O man, the one judging those practicing such things, and doing them, do you think that you will escape the judgment of God? <\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\"><i>4 Or do you despise the riches of His kindness, and the forbearance and the long-suffering, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance? <\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\"><i>5 But according to your hardness and your impenitent heart, do you treasure up to yourself wrath in a day of wrath, and revelation of a righteous judgment of God? <\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\"><i>6 He &#8220;will give to each according to his works:&#8221; LXX-Psa. 61:13; MT-Psa. 62:12 <\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\"><i>7 everlasting life truly to those who with patience in good work seeking glory and honor and incorruptibility; <\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\"><i>8 but to the ones truly disobeying the truth out of self-interest, and obeying unrighteousness, will be anger and wrath, <\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\"><i>9 trouble and pain on every soul of man that works out evil, both of Jew first, and of Greek. <\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\"><i>10 But glory and honor and peace will be to everyone working out good, both to the Jew first, and to the Greek. <\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\"><i>11 For there is no respect of persons with God. <\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">[Literal Translation of the Holy Bible]<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Suggested Questions:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">1. Within the Church, I Corinthians 5:12 instructs God&#8217;s people to judge those who have sinned. Is this considered judging and does it contradict Matthew 7:1-2 and Romans 2:1?<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">2. What is the meaning of &#8220;seeking glory and honor and incorruptibility&#8221;?<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">3. Can you explain &#8220;truly disobeying the truth out of self-interest, and obeying unrighteousness&#8221;?<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">4. Despite committing numerous sins, some individuals are wealthy and live long, while others who commit few sins experience poverty and die young, oppressed by the wicked rich. Does God give the wealthy more time and opportunity to repent than the poor, considering that both do not believe in God?<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">5. When will &#8220;trouble and pain&#8221; come upon everyone who does evil, first to the Jews and then to the Gentiles?<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">6. At what point will Jews and Gentiles receive &#8220;glory and honor and peace&#8221; as mentioned in verse 10?<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">7. Why does everything happen to the Jews before the Gentiles?<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">8. What is meant by &#8220;no respect of persons&#8221; and how does &#8220;there is no no respect of persons with God&#8221; relate to this concept?<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Suggested Applications:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">1. If you see a brother or sister in the Church committing a sin and you gently point out that sin, but that person tells you that you have no right to judge, how would you react?<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">2. Do God&#8217;s people need to expose the sins of those who do not believe in God? Should we report someone&#8217;s illegal actions to the authorities?
