{"id":236,"date":"2023-03-15T13:19:35","date_gmt":"2023-03-15T19:19:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thewordtoyou.net\/meditation\/?p=236"},"modified":"2023-03-15T13:19:49","modified_gmt":"2023-03-15T19:19:49","slug":"romans-41-12-abraham-justified-by-faith","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thewordtoyou.net\/meditation\/romans-41-12-abraham-justified-by-faith\/","title":{"rendered":"Romans 4:1-12 Abraham Justified by Faith"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Romans 4:1-12<br \/>\nAbraham Justified by Faith<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\">Today, March 15th, 2023, let us, together in the grace of God, rejoice and reflect on the Word of God in Romans 4:1-12.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><i><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">1 What then shall we say our father Abraham to have found according to flesh?<\/span> <\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\"><i>2 For if Abraham was justified by works, he has a boast, but not with God. <\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\"><i>3 For what does the Scripture say? &#8220;And Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him for righteousness.&#8221; Gen. 15:6 <\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\"><i>4 Now to one working, the reward is not counted according to grace, but according to debt. <\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\"><i>5 But to the one not working, but believing on Him justifying the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. <\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\"><i>6 Even as also David says of the blessedness of the man to whom God counts righteousness apart from works: <\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\"><i>7 &#8220;Blessed are those whose lawlessnesses are forgiven, and whose sins are covered; <\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\"><i>8 blessed the man to whom the Lord will in no way charge sin.&#8221; LXX-Psa. 31:1, 2; MT-Psa. 32:1, 2 <\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\"><i>9 Is this blessedness then on the circumcision, or also on the uncircumcision? For we say the faith &#8220;was counted to Abraham for righteousness.&#8221; Gen. 15:6 <\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\"><i>10 How then was it counted? Being in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision! <\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\"><i>11 And he received a sign of circumcision as a seal of the righteousness of faith while in uncircumcision, for him to be a father of those believing through uncircumcision, for righteousness to be counted to them also, <\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\"><i>12 and a father of circumcision to those not of circumcision only, but also to those walking in the steps of the faith of our father Abraham during uncircumcision. <\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\">[Literal Translation of the Holy Bible]<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Suggested Questions:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\">1. Who is someone that God will not charge with sin? Did this person commit sins? What is the blessing upon those who undergo circumcision and those who do not?<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\">5. Who are the &#8220;uncircumcised believers&#8221;? What is their connection to Abraham?<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\">6.
