Romans 1:29-32
The Sinful Nature of Sinners

Today, March 7th, 2023, let us together, in the grace of God, rejoice and reflect on the Word of God in Romans 1:29-32

29 having been filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, iniquity, covetousness, malice, being full of envy, murder, quarrels, deceit, evil habits, becoming whisperers,

30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, proud, braggarts, devisers of evil things, disobedient to parents,

31 without discernment, covenant breakers, without natural affection, unforgiving, unmerciful,

32 who knowing the righteous order of God, that those practicing such things are worthy of death, not only do them, but also approve those practicing them.

1. Genesis 1:31 states that after completing the creation of all things, God saw that everything he had made was very good. So why do humans have a sinful nature?

2. What are the common traits of all sins?

3. Why do humans know that they have sinned?

4. Why do humans know that sinning is not right or good, but still continue to sin?

5. Give an example of humans enjoying committing sins together.

6. What does the phrase “worthy of death” mean in verse 32?
